Large, dramatic intense pink flowers with a dark chocolate centre cone held on dark flower stems.
Echinacea ‘Sensation Pink’ is a more compact, shorter variety than most Echinacea and provides a breathtaking floral display in the garden from mid to late summer. Perfect for smaller borders and containers.
Thrives in full sun or part shade. (Although can tolerate light shade too, but may not flower as well). Echinacea like average, dry to medium well drained soil. Remove spent flowers and stems to encourage further flowers. Benefits from a heavy mulch in the Winter (does not like to be too wet in Winter). We also find planting them in pots brings good success of them coming back each year. Grows to 16-18 inches, spread 16-22 inches. Grown in 1 ltr pot size.
